DTG Artist Competition 2015 [EN]

1. Zwerg_Goswin-v.-MallinkrodthToday marks the start of the artist competition on the motif of the DTG 2015 collectible coaster. In 2011, German Tolkien illustrator Anke Eißmann designed the coaster for us, the first competition in 2013 was won by Goswin von Mallinckrodt with his feisty dwarf, in 2013 we finally got a ‚real coaster‘ from Claudia Pertschy and last year a Japanese-inspired Erebor by Lukas Walzer. Now we are looking for this year’s motif.

For the collectible coaster 2015 we are looking for a motif inspired by one of Tolkien’s works. The only other condition for the motif is that it has to include the DTG logo (can be in a slightly modified version but has to be recognizable). From all submissions that reach us by 23 November 2015, the jury – which includes last year’s winner Lukas Walzer, by the way – will choose the winning picture. This will then be published on this year’s collectible coaster. The winner will not only receive a free coaster but also the game “Hobbit-Geschichten aus dem grünen Drachen” published by Uhrwerk. Two further submissions will win book prizes.

dtg_untersetzer_farbe_72dpi With the submission of your motif (as .jpg or .tiff, ranging between 500kb to 2MB in size and a resolution of 300dpi), you consent to have the picture published in the above-mentioned form and as a picture on our Internet platforms and in our society magazine Flammifer von Westernis, citing your name, of course. You can submit up to three different motifs.

We are looking forward to your submissions to marie-noelle.biemer [ad] tolkiengesellschaft.de!
