Am Ende dieses oder Anfang nächsten Jahres soll eine zweite Festschrift zu Ehren von Tolkien-Forscher Tom Shippey erscheinen. Jason Fisher, Autor von Tolkien and the Study of his Sources, berichtete in seinem Blog, dass mit McFarland einen Verlag für das Projekt gefunden wurde, für das er schon vor drei Jahren den Aufruf zur Einreichung von Beiträgen gestartet habe.
Der vorläufige Titel der Festschrift lautet Author of the New Century: T.A. Shippey and the Creation of the Next Canon. Sie wird editiert von John William Houghton, Janet Brennan Croft, Nancy Martsch, John D. Rateliff und Robin Anne Reid.
