Eldarinwë Líri beim Vestfold International Festival, Norwegen
Eldarinwë Líri, oder “Elbenlieder”, ist ein Liedzyklus, der auf den elbischen Gedichten von J.R.R. Tolkien basiert. Diese Komposition für einen Mädchenchor, die bekannte Mittelaltergruppe “Trio Mediæval” und zwei klassische Harfen, wurde vom Vestfold International Festival 2010 in Auftrag gegeben. Sie wird im Rahmen des Festivals aufgeführt am 5. Juni 2010 in der Tønsberger Hauptkirche in Südnorwegen. Die Komposition dauert etwa 20 Minuten. Aufführung von Quendi in Montpellier, Frankreich
Das symphonische Gedicht Quendi, 2008 in Auftrag gegeben und basierend auf den mythischen Geschichten von J.R.R. Tolkien, wird vom Nationalorchester Montpellier in der Opéra Berlioz/LeCorum am 18. und 19. Juni 2010 aufgeführt. Das Konzert wird im Rahmen der Serie “Konzerte für die Familie” stattfinden. Eldarinwë Líri at the Vestfold International Festival, Norway
Eldarinwë Líri, or “elven songs”, is a song cycle based upon the elvish poetry of J.R.R. Tolkien. This work for girls’ choir, the distinguished medieval singer group “Trio Mediæval” and two classical harps, was commissioned by the Vestfold International Festival 2010. It will be performed at the festival on 5th of June 2010 in the Tønsberg main church, Southern Norway. The composition lasts around 20 minutes. Performance of Quendi in Montpellier, France
The symphonic poem Quendi, commissioned in 2008 and based on the mythic tale of J.R.R. Tolkien, will be performed by the l’orchestre national de Montpellier in the Opéra Berlioz/LeCorum on the 18th and 19th of June 2010.
