Am 19. Mai 2013 findet in Longmont, Colorado das 1. Symposium der Grey Havens Group, ein offizielles Smial der britischen Tolkiengesellschaft, statt. Unter dem Titel “Real Myth and Mithril: Delving into Fantasy Literature” geht es vor allem um Fantasy-Literatur von J.R.R. Tolkien und J.K. Rowling. Neben Vorträgen und Diskussionsrunden zu unten aufgelisteten Themen gibt es außerdem Lesungen und eine Ausstellung.
