Die achte Tolkien Konferenz an der University of Vermont findest dieses Wochenende vom 8.-9. April 2011 statt. Der Eintritt ist frei und offen für alle.
Das Thema der Konferenz ist “Nature and the Environment in Tolkien’s Middle-earth”, Hauptredner ist Matt Dickerson, Middlebury College. Er ist der Autor von Following Gandalf: Epic Battles and Moral Victory in The Lord of the Rings; und Co-Autor, mit Jonathan Evans (der auch eine Präsentation halten wird), von Ents, Elves, And Eriador: The Environmental Vision of J.R.R. Tolkien.

The eighth Tolkien conference at the University of Vermont will take place this weekend, 8-9 April 2011. The conference is free and open to all.
The conference theme is “Nature and the Environment in Tolkien’s Middle-earth”, keynote speaker is Matt Dickerson, Middlebury College. He is the author of Following Gandalf: Epic Battles and Moral Victory in The Lord of the Rings; and co-author, with Jonathan Evans (who will also give a paper at the conference), of Ents, Elves, And Eriador: The Environmental Vision of J.R.R. Tolkien.
