Tolkien Thing XII

Our latest AGM and surrounding follies took place from July 15–18, 2010. We met at a Gondorian town house in Minas Hersfeld and were joined by a merry delegation of the Danish Tolkien Society Bri. Carola Oberbeck gives an overview of the large amount of lectures, workshops, events – from boating on the Anduin, CSI Minas Tirith to the best Long Expected Party for years.

Tolkien Reading Day

The event that has been organised since 2003 by the British Tolkien Society has made its way over the Channel. Sebastian Kleinen reports on the German version in an Oberhausen bookshop.

The German Tolkien Society hosts several Tolkien Days a year at different locations throughout the country. Tolkien Tag 32
