The best Thing since …
… quite a long time! Our annual general meeting, complete with a four-day programme around all things Tolkien, was held in Minas Hersfeld from July 15–18, 2010.
Wilfried Schönfelder writes a long report about his impressions of the event: the colourful presence of our international guest, the Danish Tolkien Society »Bri«; two concerts, one by harpist Kim Skovbye, one by the core part of the Tolkien Ensemble Caspar Reiff and Peter Hall. He highlights some of the workshops and lectures, the amazing job our decorations team did with its CSI Pelennor, the activities out in the city itself, the Long-expected Party, and much much more.
