Welcome to our new web site
Four years have passed since the society’s committee welcomed another new version of the German Tolkien Society’s website upgrading from Version Four. Four years of many exciting new experiences; four years which have seen the society become a respected liaison in the field of Middle-earth research and fandom both nationally and internationally.
It gives me great pleasure to welcome Version Six on behalf of the committee of the German Tolkien Society and the website editorial staff. We have modernised its look and added a new, reader-friendly site structure to better present our society’s manifold activities and publications. If you take an interest in J.R.R. Tolkien’s life and works in Germany you will have the opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones, share a mutually entertaining passion for literature and more, and get the most recent and best information on our favourite author.
Enjoy our new website which, incidentally, will become fully bilingual from now on.
